CPI activists today staged a dharna in front of the Deputy Collector's office here today.
The activists, led by CPI city secretary K Subbaraju, were up in arms against steep hike in prices of essential commodities.
They held the government responsible for failing to check the spiraling prices and submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Collector enlisting their demands.
