While participation of our very own Mohd Kaif is almost certain, others like Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla, Gyanendra Pandey, Jyoti Yadav, Sairaj Bahutale and many others are expected to participate in First Justice SN Dwivedi Memorial Tournament slated to begin on January 31.

To be organised under the aegis of Allahabad Cricket Association (ACA), the preparations are under way on a war footing for the said tourney.

"Five top teams including Uttar Pradesh (UP), Madhya Pradesh (MP), Sahara India, Rizvi Builders (Mumbai) and a local team Chaudhary Naunihal Singh Academy have confirmed their participation," said Masod Malik, joint convenor, ACA.

Local team under the name of Chaudhary Naunihal Singh Academy will be led by Mohd Saif, UP Ranji veteran and brother of Mohd Kaif.

Though team is yet to be finalised, few other renowned sportspersons may also represent the local team, confirmed Mohd Asif of the CNSA.

Likewise, Rizvi Builders from Mumbai will also be a star studded XI. Sairaj Bahutale, Hrishikesh Kanitkar, Iqbal Siddique, Vinayak Mane and Vineet Indulkar are expected to be play for the team.

Being organised for the first time, the final of the tournament will be played at Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium on February 3.
