"The passenger trains on Kharagpur-Rourkela and Kharagpur-Adra section will continue to remain suspended during night hours from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. upto 11th October," the railways said in a statement.

Accordingly, some trains have been diverted, re-scheduled and regulated, the statement said.

The railways have been restricting the movement of passenger trains during the night on the Maoist-affected routes due to security reasons, following the May 28 Gyaneshwari Express sabotage in West Bengal in which 148 people were killed.
