In the Kotwali, Bunna Devi and Gandhi Park areas, curfew was relaxed from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm while it was relaxed from 2 pm to 5 pm in Delhi Gate and Sasni Gate areas.

Officials said no untoward incidents were reported during the relaxation of the curew.

The curfew had been clamped after local BJP leader OP Gupta was shot dead by suspected "hired killers" on May 28. His killing sparked communal clashes that left two persons dead.
