Danish Kaneria took Test-best figures of 7 for 77 in Bangladesh's second innings. These are also the best figures for Pakistan against Bangladesh, beating the 6 for 42 he took against them earlier.

In three Tests against Bangladesh, he grabbed 25 wickets at 11.12 each. Danish displayed a mastery of all the leg-spinner’s variations even though they were against a brittle batting line-up.

But the pitches in that series were too slow to assist him. Danish has a long way to go but still he has the potential to prove.
