Dearth of PCS exam forms at post offices

Long queues of the aspirants have been witnessed at the post offices during the last few days. On March 21 .

Hundreds of candidates returned disappointed after spending hours standing in the scorching sun. Later a notice regarding shortage of forms was displayed on the counters of the post offices and no information regarding the expected date of availability of forms is mentioned in the notice.

On being contacted Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Allahabad Region, Parimal Sinha said that the supply of forms has been stopped from the UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC). According to Sinha, the forms have run short at the UPPSC office and no further information was available in this regard.

Meanwhile passport forms have also been reported to be out of stock at the post office for past ten days. The officials said that they were running short of application forms as we have not received the supply from the concerned department at Ghaziabad.

A request has already been made to the department for the supply of the passport forms, he added.
