Death toll in Pune blast goes up to 13

Two persons, including a Sudanese national, who were injured in the Pune blast, succumbed to their injuries as the toll in the terror strike rose to 13, police said on Saturday.

26-year-old Sudanese student Amjad Elgazoli died in Inlak Budhrani hospital last night while Atul Anap (30), a Reliance Communication employee from Navi Mumbai, breathed his last in KEM hospital today.

Amjad is the third foreigner to die in the February 13 blast at the German Bakery, the other two being Nadia Macerini, an Italian woman, and Iranian national Sayyed Syed Khani. He was studying at the Wadia College here.
The blast had injured over 50 people at the popular eatery in Koregaon Park area.
