The New Delhi-bound Jan Shatabdi Express was on Tuesday delayed by medicos protesting against the reservation policy.

Railway sources said that medicos of local hospitals squatted on the tracks shortly before the Chandigarh-New Delhi 2058 Jan Shatabdi Express was to depart from Chandigarh.

Protestors raised slogans protesting against the reservation policy and dispersed after some time.

The departure of the train was delayed by 13 minutes, the railway sources said.
