Delhi Police on has not ruled out interrogating South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs regarding his alleged role in the match-fixing scandal in 2000, when he visits India for the Champions Trophy in October-November.

"We will take a decision at the appropriate time," a senior Crime Branch official of the Delhi Police said.

Boje, the spinner, has been left out of the South African squad for the biennial event to be held from October 7 to November 5.
Both Gibbs and Boje, who had refused to visit India fearing arrest in 2004 and 2005, expressed their keenness to tour this time and had agreed to meet the investigating authorities with their lawyers.
