Deputy Speaker of Puducherry Assembly A V Sreedharan was admitted to the Indira Gandhi Government Hospital and PG Institute in Puducherry following rise in blood pressure.
Official sources told PTI on Wednesday that Mr Sreedharan was recovering.
Ministers and legislators of Puducherry called on him and wished him speedy recovery.
