For starters folks, make a note on the change in the venue for the March 9 wedding extravaganza. The new mandap will be in Umaid Bhavan, Jodhpur.

Apparently, the seamless guest list was hard pressed for space at DeviGarh Fort in Udaipur! The wedding theme is resplendently floral. The couple will exchange vows in the fragrant ‘house of flowers’, a room full of blooms.

Sources say, “Arun’s mother, multi- millionairess Gunay Nayar, is a dervish of energy and focus, tending the arrangements for the 5000-strong guest list.” Mama Mia also plans to throw a post-wedding bash.

There was also much conferencing on the menu. Finally, as per ‘madam’ Hurley’s instructions, it was agreed that three chefs would be flown in from London to add a whole new aspect to the menu! The spread —like the marriage — is cross-cultural. Indian, Mexican, Italian, Continental and some surprises.

Meanwhile, some of Liz’s Indian friends are also throwing parties for the couple and Parmeshwar Godrej plans a big one for the newly-weds later in Mumbai. Watch this space for more juicy update.
