Hours after an attack on a train, Dima Halam Daogah (J) militants fired at a goods train in central Assam's North Cachhar Hills district today morning, leaving a railway protection force personnel injured.

Official sources said Dima Halam Daogah (j) insurgents fired at the train near Warengdisa as it was proceeding towards Dijaonra from Lamdingat at 7.50 am.

All trains on both sides of the track have been halted.

The same group had on Friday attacked a train from a hilltop at Badarpur-lumding Barak Vally Express, killing a CRPF jawan and critically injured 14 passengers.
