Most china cabinets have three shelves. Divide their display into the left, middle and right side. Make sure it is well-dusted and glass doors are clean. Display your best crystal set on the top shelf and keep it well lit. You can group eight glasses of a variety such as wine, flute or water on the left side, another in the middle and the third on the left side. If you have only one display-worthy set then team it up with a crystal vase or bowl on either side.

In the middle of the second shelf (the focal point), arrange a complete crockery set. On the left side, stack four of your cups and saucers. For the right side display your China coffee pot, sugar bowl and creamer. The bottom shelf should be used for not more than four or five key pieces. Too much will leave it cluttered.
