District administration gears up for Board exams

THE DISTRICT administration and education officials have geared up for conducting peaceful and copying-free Board Examination, scheduled to start from today. Around 3.22 lakh students of the division will appear at 532 examination centres in the four districts of the division.

THE DISTRICT administration and education officials have geared up for conducting peaceful and copying-free Board Examination, scheduled to start from today. Around 3.22 lakh students of the division will appear at 532 examination centres in the four districts of the division.

According to the report, 1,76,662 students in high school and 1,25,063 students in intermediate would appear the UP Board Examination this year.

The education officials have identified several sensitive examination centres in the district.

In Kushinagar district 52, in Deoria 34 and in Gorakhpur 25 and in Maharajganj 2 centres have been identified as sensitive. District Inspector of School Ramagya Kumar said in Gorakhpur district 63,095 students would appear in the high school examination at 160 centres.

Following it 20,316 students from Maharajganj district and 81,666 from Deoria and 32,558 students from Kushinagar would appeared in the high school exam of the board.

Similarly, in intermediate examination 41,983 students would appear at 160 centres. Following centres 13368 students from Maharajganj, 52,232 students from Deoria, 17,480 students from Kushinagar would appear in the intermediate examination of UP Board. In Maharajganj district 51, in Deoria 222 and in Kushinagar district 90 examinations centres have been made.

This year, six examination centres of Gorakhpur, 19 from Deoria and one from Kushinagar have been placed in the black list.
