In a meeting held with the managers of various auditoriums and cinema at Collectorate, Tripathi said the managers should divide works in two categories—short- term goals and long- term goals towards fire and power safety. Work towards short- term ones should be launched immediately. Regarding the long- term goals, they should fix a time frame and inform the power safety department and the department should give clearance to an auditorium only after inspecting the auditorium.

Regarding cinema, Entertainment Tax inspector informed the DM that a cinema license is renewed on annual basis. It is not renewed if the power and fire safety norms are unfulfilled.

Officers of various related departments and managers and caretakers of Ravindralaya, Ganna Sansthan auditorium, Fanthome Hall, Vishveshariya hall, Rai Umanath Bali auditorium, Ganga Prasad Memorial Hall, Natya Kala Kendra, Gandhi Sabhagaar and few others were present.
