DMK, AIADMK workers injured in clash
Two persons belonging to DMK and AIADMK were hospitalised after sustaining knife injuries in a clash over pasting of election posters at Emerald, about 30 km from Udhagamandalam on Sunday.

Two persons belonging to DMK and AIADMK were hospitalised after sustaining knife injuries in a clash over pasting of election posters at Emerald, about 30 km from Udhagamandalam on Sunday.
According to police, a quarrel broke out between workers of the two parties on pasting posters, leading to fisticuffs. One Mani, leader of the local MGR Fans' Association and another DMK worker reportedly knifed each other.
Both were hospitalised at the Government Hospital in Udhagamandalam, where Mani's condition is reportedly critical, police said.
