DMK leaders rush to Delhi to finalise Cabinet nominees
Three DMK leaders rushed to Delhi to help party leader Karunanidhi, in the finalisation of DMK nominees in the central Cabinet.
Three front-ranking DMK leaders on Thursday air-dashed to Delhi to help party leader M Karunanidhi, in the finalisation of names of DMK nominees in the central Cabinet.
According to DMK sources, Karunanidhi directed four leaders including the General Secretary, K Anbazhagan, to rush to the national capital. Since Anbazhagan had pressing engagements in the city, he could not go and the other three left by air on Thursday evening.
Those who have left for Delhi are party treasurer, Arcot Veerasamy, Deputy General Secretary and Karunanidhi's son, M K Stalin and Principal Secretary Durai Murugan.
