DPA would sweep polls

AICC Secretary Nachiyappan said the DPA would get all the 39 LS seats in Tamil Nadu, adding a Congress govt would be formed at the Centre.

In Tamil Nadu, DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance would sweep the polls to take all the 39 Lok Sabha seats, the newly appointed AICC Secretary, EM Sudarsana Nachiyappan, said on Saturday.

He said he had been asked to co-ordinate the election work for the Congress in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Pondicherry, besides the affairs of Youth Congress and NSU-I, the student wing of the Congress.

He further added that a Congress-led coalition would be put in place at the centre after the Lok Sabha polls.

Nachiappan told reporters here that the people of the country were vexed with the NDA government and wanted a change.
