Eight persons were injured, two of them seriously, when a boiler exploded at a scrap dismantling unit in Shahdara area in northeast Delhi on Friday.

Employees Ram Vikas and Arvind sustained serious burn injuries in the explosion at the unit this afternoon, fire department said.
All the injured were taken to the Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital by fire fighters who rushed to the spot in two fire tenders.
Ram Vikas and Arvind have sustained 90 per cent and 60 per cent burn injuries respectively.
