Eight juvenile delinquents escape from remand home in Bihar

Eight juvenile delinquents on Tuesday escaped from a remand home in Bihar's Purnia town, however, police managed to nab five of them. The inmates between the age group of 11-14 years broke a window of the room where they were kept, DSP S S Thakur said.

The inmates between the age group of 11-14 years broke a window of the room where they were kept, DSP S S Thakur said.

Police managed to capture five of them, he said, adding that search is on to nab the rest of them.

The juveniles were involved in petty crime, the DSP said. This is the fourth incident of remand home-break in Purnia district.
