Eight persons, including three women, were killed and 23 were injured when two buses collided in Hebbal on Thursday.

The victims, seven of whom died on the spot, were proceeding to Davangere from Bangalore, police sources said.
While one bus belonged to the Karnataka Road Transport Corporation, the other was a private vehicle, they said.
The injured have been admitted to a district hospital.
