Eight killed in Tripura road mishap
The accident took place near Bishalgarh, 25 kms from Agartala, when a jeep and a car collided head-on, killing seven people instantly and injuring 14.

At least eight people were killed in Tripura on Thursday when a jeep and a car collided head-on.
The accident took place near Bishalgarh, 25 kms from Agartala, when a jeep and a car collided head-on, killing seven people instantly and injuring 14.
An injured woman died in the hospital later.
"Seven people died on the spot. The 14 injured where shifted to the GB Pant government medical college and hospital, where one woman succumbed to her injuries," police official Nepal Das told IANS.
The car was carrying a patient, who was also killed. The jeep was packed with people coming from a marriage ceremony.
