Eleven Maoists arrested in Bihar

Eleven suspected Maoists, including an area-commander, were today arrested in separate raids from Belsand area of the district, police said in Sitamarhi.

Eleven suspected Maoists, including an area-commander, were today arrested in separate raids from Belsand area of the district, police said in Sitamarhi.

Area-commander Sheotahal Sahni was wanted in several cases, they added.

He was arrested with two of his accomplices near Mehasi chowk with a 9 mm pistol and 25 live cartridges.
