Employees strike to protest Narhari ouster

The strike, called by Indore Nagar Nigam Karamchari Mahasangh, came after a meeting held at the Corporation headquarters around an hour before new Commissioner Vinod Sharma was slated to assume charge.

Addressing the meeting, Mahasangh leader Ramlal Yadav termed Narhari as an honest and upright official who had worked to protect employees’ interests by restarting the stalled promotion process and hiking medical benefits.
