The university had introduced computerised system for screening of examination forms and issuing of admission cards carrying picture and other details of individual examinee. But due to lack of feeding accurate data in the computer, many documents pertaining to smooth conducting of examinations were found faulty and students and invigilators had to face a tough time in managing examinations.

Most verification forms issued by the university did not contain subjects, which were opted by students. This caused trouble to room invigilator to ascertain subjects opted by examinee. At some centres, roll number slips were not pasted on desks. A chart showing allotment of classrooms was pasted at the notice board. But many students, who failed to locate their seats according to official chart in a specific classroom occupied seats in other classrooms. After verification, they were shifted to their allotted classrooms. Since verification forms did not carry subjects opted by students, invigilators had to spend a lot of time in ascertaining subjects. Many admission cards carried wrong information about candidates. In some cases, admission cards did not have picture of examinees while in others names of candidates were wrongly fed. Besides, some admission forms had picture of candidates, but name of another candidate was mentioned over it.

According to university sources, over 3.60 lakh students sat for examinations.

The university has set up more than two dozen fying squads to check copying.

Besides, taking mobile phones in examination halls and wearing shoes and socks has been banned. At DAV Degree College, barricading has been put up to facilitate thorough checking.
