Surgical Oncology Department at Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS-BHU) in collaboration with Indian Association of Surgical Oncology has organised this four-day meet with World Federation of Surgical Oncology Societies titled ‘Evidence Based Treatment of Cancer’.
World renowned MAS expert, Prof C Palanivellu of Coimbatore along with Prof MC Mishra and Prof Anurag Srivastava, both from All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (New Delhi), Prof Sandeep Kumar from KGMU (Lucknow) and local team of expert including Prof HS Shukla, Dr Manoj Pandey and other discussed and demonstrated MAS to cancer.
Besides, foreign delegates including renowned cancer expert of Austria, Dr Michael Smola and Dr Morcos Moraes, president of Brazilian Cancer Society (Brazil) also shared their experience over less surgery for more advantage to the patients. The conference started at 8.30 am in Surgical Oncology operating theatre in Sir Sunderlal Hospital.
