Explosion in police station in Malda

At least three persons were injured in an explosion this evening in a storeroom of the Chanchol police station in the district.

At least three persons were injured in an explosion this evening in a storeroom of the Chanchol police station in the district.

The three injured included policemen, the police said quoting a preliminary report.

They suspected that seized bombs and explosive substances, stored in the room, caused the explosion.

Senior police officials have rushed to Chanchol.
