A beautician has offered tips on how the shape of eyebrows can gain an insight into somebody's personality.

Chernae Silk, called the "brow whisperer", learnt the art of face-reading in Europe and claims she can reveal insight into a person's character.

The 31-year-old crowned Australian model Jennifer Hawkins for having the most fashionable brow shape at the moment.

"Jennifer's shape is the new celebrity brow, which I've named `the oracle'. It starts full and thick, then tapers towards the temple", the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.

"Jennifer has a brow shape that has changed since her cheerleading days, and the new style she is sporting will help her with her business pursuits," she added.

The beauty therapist further said those with naturally low-set brows, for example Arnold Schwarzenegger, were good at controlling their feelings but often had a restricted point of view.

Speaking about people with upward-growing brow hair, such as cricketer Shane Warne, she added: "Those who have stand-up growth at the front of the brow like Shane don't like to live a quiet life; they love to be entertained. He enjoys a challenge and has a brave heart."
