A special narcotics court is likely to frame charges against actor Fardeen Khan in the sensational cocaine case in which the actor was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in May 2001.

Special judge P.N. Deshmukh on February 18 fixed the date for framing of charges against Fardeen and two other accused — Nasir Abdul Karim Sheikh and Tony Gomes as April 7 in order to commence the case’s trial.
Fardeen was arrested on May 5, 2001, at Juhu. The chargesheet filed by NCB officials states that nine grams of cocaine was found in Fardeen’s car when he was caught.
