Solar water heating systems in residential and government buildings has been made mandatory in Faridabad.

Solar water heating systems in residential and government buildings has been made mandatory in Faridabad.

Additional deputy commissioner, Faridabad, Anita Yadav, forwarded a letter to HUDA administrator, Faridabad, directing that solar water heating systems have been made mandatory for those buildings which house industries where hot water is needed.

Among other buildings where solar heating water system has been made mandatory are hospitals, nursing homes, hotels, motels and banquet halls, jail barracks, canteens, housing complexes set up by group housing societies/housing boards, all residential buildings built on a plot size of 500 square yards, educational institutes, tourism complexes, etc.
