THE HIGH School mathematics second paper, earlier cancelled in Varanasi district on April 3, was conducted smoothly here on Thursday.

Uttar Pradesh Higher Secondary Board officials had cancelled the second paper (code QP 832 (EI) in Varanasi due to leakage in Ballia a couple of days before the scheduled date of the examination.
As many as 29,180 students appeared in the mathematics second examination at 157 centres across the district. “The examination was conducted smoothly,” confirmed district inspector of schools (Varanasi) Onkar Shukla.

Another student Sushant Gupta said some questions on geometry were more difficult than those in the April 3 paper.
