Justices A M Sapre and S K Seth of the Indore judge bench ordered the formation of a three-member officer-level committee and submit its report before the court within a month.
The team will include at least one member from Maharashtra ATS of the rank of Assistant Commissioner, the judges said.
The witness Dilip Patidar has been missing since November 10 last when he was taken by the Maharashtra ATS, Dilip's brother Ramswarup told the court.
Patidar was living as a tenant in the Indore house of an accused in the blast Ramji Kalsangra.
