Mehhrunni Sabi also advocated that contests are essential for the all round development of children. The programme began with garlanding of portrait of Lord Baden Powell. Various competitions were held after the inaugural session.
Group Leader Anwar Hussain Khan gave the details about the competitions. Komal Dolekar, Seema Khandelwal and Rani Sakhwal won the first, second and third prizes in the rangoli contest.
Rishita Goyal, Namrata Bhatnagar and Neelima Panwar were the first, second and third winners of single dance competition. Paritosh Mahant, Shweta Sarathe, Puja Dhut, Bindiya Asharma and Rekha Negi bagged the consolation prizes in the dance competition. Gaurav Chanderiwal, Preeti Kushwah and Rani Sakhwal stood first, second and third in the lemon race.
Premlata Garhwal, Chetan Kasiv and Rani Sakhwal won the first, second and third prizes in chair race. Kavita Chauhan, Nilesh Masad and Shanu Chauhan bagged the first, second and third prizes in rope skipping competition.
