According to information, the complainant, Dr Satyendra Singh, who is an office-bearer of the society of residents, had gone to meet the supervisor of security and had an altercation with him in the morning.

After return, Singh went to the bath but half-a-dozen persons in a jeep entered the locality and barged into Singh’s house. The intruders assaulted him, took Singh out of the house and tried to take him away. However, residents came out of their houses and forced the accused to flee.

The residents allege that they pay Rs 3,000 every year for security and maintenance to builder but get no services in return. Besides, the security guards just keep an eye on the builder’s goods.

In order to sort out the matter, the residents had gone to meet the supervisor of security and maintenance where they had an argument with the supervisor, Manoj, following which the accused came to the locality.

The Misrod police have registered a case against four persons who have been identified by the residents for house trespass, voluntarily causing hurt and criminal intimidation.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man allegedly barged into the house of a woman and molested her. The accused, Motilal, a resident of Aishbagh, barged into the house of one, Geeta, at Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar and molested her. She raised an alarm and the accused fled the spot. The police have registered a case in this regard.
