Four killed as car falls into ravine
Four persons were killed and another was injured when the car in which they were travelling skidded off Satpuli-Dudharkhal road and plunged into a 500-meter-deep ravine in Pauri district.

Four persons were killed and another was injured when the car in which they were travelling skidded off Satpuli-Dudharkhal road and plunged into a 500-meter-deep ravine in Pauri district, police said today.
The incident occurred last evening when the guests from the groom's family were on their way to attend the marriage ceremony at Satpuli from Dudharkhal, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Shivcharan Rawat, Dinesh Singh Kandari, Harendra Singh and Dinesh Singh Rawat. The injured was identified as Panchamsing Rawat (42) and admitted in Kotdwara hospital, according to Additional Superintendent of Police Jaswant Singh.
The bodies of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem, he added.
