Four killed as tractor trolley falls in well in MP town

At least four people, including two children, were killed and two others severely injured when a tractor-trolley in which they were travelling fell into a well in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.

At least four people, including two children, were killed and two others severely injured when a tractor-trolley in which they were travelling fell into a well in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.

"The mishap occurred Monday evening when the driver of the tractor-trolley lost control while trying to save a buffalo. The vehicle fell into the well," Afzalpur Station House Officer KK Agrawal said.

The trolley was laden with construction material and all the people hailing from Semliakaji village were going from Kuchlod village to their home.

The dead include the driver Babu Mian (27). Others who drowned in the well include Prahlad (46), Ranu (12) and Padma (10). Two others who were severely injured have been admitted to a hospital in Mandsaur.
