Four killed in Dindigul

Four persons including two children,aged one-and-a-half, were killed and 66 injured when the van carrying them overturned near Dindigul on Thursday.

Police said the mishap occurred when the driver of the van, which was filled to capacity, applied the brake suddenly.

The van was also travelling at a 'fairly good speed', the sources said, adding, all the occupants were injured.
