Four members of a family, allegedly infected with the HIV virus committed suicide in Junagadh district, says the police.

The victims Mansukh Baldhar (36) his wife Daya, four-year old daughter Komal and son of three years died after consuming poison on Thursday in Visavdar town, they said.

While father and son died on the spot, Daya and Komal breathed their last while being taken to the hospital, police said.

Primary investigations revealed that when Mansukh came to know that the disease gripping his family members is incurable, he decided to take the extreme step.
