A trivial fight among three friends led to the death of one in Dombivli on Thursday.

The incident took place at Anil Apartment in Gograswadi, Dombivli (East).

According to the police, the deceased, Yogesh Landage, 34, was getting disturbed by the children who were playing in the building premises. He allegedly scolded and abused them, including the sister of one of the accused Rajesh Jadhav.

The girl went home and narrated the entire incident to her brother. Rajesh and his friend Nitin Kadam, also Yogesh’s friend, got angry and called Yogesh on the terrace of the building.

The trio had a verbal feud, which turned in to a physical fight, resulting in the duo pushing Yogesh from the third floor.

The residents reached the spot immediately and rushed Yogesh to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

“The accused have been arrested and booked on charges of murder. They were produced in the Kalyan court and will remain in police custody for six days,” police inspector AP Mane of Ramnagar police station said.
