Function at CPRI

CENTRAL POWER Research Institute (CPRI) celebrated the recognition day at its premises today. Vice-Chancellor, Barkatullah University, Prof. RS Sirohi as chief guest delivered a lecture on fiber optics.

CENTRAL POWER Research Institute (CPRI) celebrated the recognition day at its premises today. Vice-Chancellor, Barkatullah University, Prof. RS Sirohi as chief guest delivered a lecture on fiber optics. CPRI – a premier organisation is primarily engaged in research and development of electric power and is a testing and certification authority of power equipment.

The institute was recognised as an autonomous society on January 16, 1978 and functions under the Union Power Ministry with head office in Bangalore.

Also present at the function were director MANIT, general manager and assistant general manager of BHEL and staff members of the institute. PJ Ingle, former director CPRI presided over the function.
