He stated this at the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) board meeting here on late Thursday evening.
Dr Yadav directed the officials to bring transparency in the construction works and said that they should gain faith of the masses. The officials of the GDA said that they expect Rs 91665.49 income for year 2006-07 against the expenditure of Rs 115.463 lakh. Divisional commissioner and chairman of the board directed the officials not to start the allotment process till the residential colonies were fully completed.
He suggested that registration could be done during the construction period of the colony. He also suggested the officials to take up non-expensive projects.
He reviewed the schemes for developing multiplex and multi purpose complex along with shopping complex at different residential colonies.
The meeting was also attended by the member of Planning Commission also enjoying the rank of state minister Ramayana Singh Chauhan. GDA secretary Vijay Bahadur Singh raised the issue of special concessions granted to Lila Singh, an allottee of the Charuchandpuri Colony.
Sources said the board had postponed the development of Kaushambi Vihar residential colony, following the objections. According to sources the land under Ramgarh Tal project was acquired to develop forest.
