Ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, gave birth to her first child ? a baby daughter on May 14.
Former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell, got a real Mother’s Day gift when she welcomed her first child – a baby daughter – into the world on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at London’s Portland Hospital.
The baby was reportedly delivered by a Caesarean section, and while Halliwell’s mother Anna Maria was with her at the birth — which was not due until later this month, the baby’s father was not allowed to be present for the birth, reports The Sun.
Geri’s baby daughter was delivered at 9 pm by top obstetrician Malcolm Gillard, who also delivered David and Victoria Beckham’s first son Brooklyn.
A hospital source said that the birth had gone smoothly, and that both mother and daughter were doing well. The birth went well. Mother and daughter are doing fine,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.
