Three answer books of a single roll number were received, apart from an already filled award block, by the deputy controller of an evaluation centre in district which exposed the tall claims of maintaining the standard and transparency of the examinations.
The answer sheets are also revealing startling facts regarding mass copying in various centres as the answers to most of the questions are the same and it seems that some one dictated the answer.
It is worthy to note that evaluation work is going on at five-evaluation centres here, including Government Jubilee Inter College, MSI Inter College, Marwar Inter College, DB Inter College and MP Inter College. Nearly 15 lakh answer sheets of UP Board examinees will be checked here.
Principal of DB College said that the award block was to be filled by the evaluators but it had been received already filled and copies from western part of the state had come here for evaluation. Similarly, three answer sheets of the same roll number also appeared strange to the evaluators at MSI College.
The deputy controller said that there was a strict directive not to overwrite the award block but an already filled award block was detected during evaluation.
At many centres, the answer sheets in the bundle were less than the number of copies marked on the bundle.
In various answer sheets, the signature of the principal and examination centre incharge were missing which revealed the contradiction between the claims of then education officials and the ground reality.
