Nitin Karandikar and his 20-member team presented Kolhapur folk dance on Saturday. Inter-school Marathi folk dance competition was also held in the festival.

The food zone in Jatra having stalls of Marathi dishes is the centre of attraction for the gourmets of Indore. Marathi preparations like jhun ka bhakr, chakli, varan-bhat, puran poli, vada-paav, usal etc are being savoured by large crowds.
The handicrafts zone has clay items, Ganesh idols, decorative items, diyas, handcrafted dresses, visiting cards, marble
products, rangoli sets, handmade jewellery, Rajasthani pickles and many other fancy articles.

The trade zone featured stalls of big companies like Hindustan Lever, Wipro, TCL, Eureka Forbes, ING Vysya, SBI Life, Punjab National Bank, Sansui etc.

Jatra coordinator Mandar Mahajan said that the festival had achieved its target to portray the culture and traditions of Marathi population. Mahajan added that the festival provided students with a platform to display their talent, craftsmen to publicise their work and social organisations to spread awareness in the public.

Indore Municipal Corporation put up a stall in Jatra to provide information on water conservation and plantation.
