Governor condoles death of Amarnath pilgrims

J and K Governor NN Vohra, who is also chairman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, has condoled the death of Amarnath pilgrims in a road accident on Mansar road, near Samba, late last night.

Governor directed deputy chief executive officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to personnaly reach Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu, to provide the help and support required by the injured persons.

He also asked DGP to personally review the causes of frequent road accidents in the State, particularly on several stretches of the National Highway, which result in heavy losses of life, and direct immediate measures to check these.
