Governor inaugurates Red Cross mela

Governor NN Vohra inaugurated the Red Cross mela at Gulshan Ground here on Saturday.The governor visited the stalls put up at the venue by several government and private organizations and showed interest in products being displayed. He interacted with students, officers and others.

The India Air Force, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, JK police, state government departments of handicrafts and horticulture, besides others, are participating in the event.

Several colourful cultural programmes, including dances of different regions of the country, were presented by the students of various educational institutions. Shantmanu, divisional commissioner Jammu, among others, was present on the occasion.
