This guide book provides information about various procedures and guidelines for the pilgrims for Amarnath Yatra, which commences on July 2 and ends on August 29.

The governor urged members of the TFJ and all other stakeholders to support the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) in organising a planned and orderly yatra which ensures the safety and security of the pilgrims.

He observed that J&K being an important tourism destination, all the travel and tour operators should develop and enlarge their capacities on the basis of a long-term view of the needs and requirements of this sector.
