The Governor also held discussions with the priest of Sankat Mochan temple and authorities over the security of the shrine following the bomb blast on March 7.

After landing here in the morning, he went straight to the Sankat Mochan temple. There, he first performed worship of Lord Hanuman and other deities.

Then, he had a look at the site of the bomb blast. Later, he went to the Kashi Vishwanath temple and performed worship, along with his family members.

He visited the house of Bharat Ratna and Shehnai maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan.

The couple presented a bouquet, a shawl and a basket of fruits to Khan. When the maestro expressed his desire to perform in Lucknow, Rajeswar invited him to perform at Raj bhawan on Dussehera.

Afterwards, the Governor held meetings with officials at the Circuit House. Later, he went to the BHU hospital and met those injured in the bomb blasts.
