Govinda's role scissored by Mani Ratnam

The director lost his cool when Govinda kept his co-stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan waiting on the sets of Raavan. So much so that he deleted Govinda’s portion out of the scene and went ahead with the shooting.

Govinda better be punctual the next time he works with Mani Ratnam. For the director has made clear that he cannot bear late latif people.

Later, when Govinda walked in and apologised to Mani, the director snapped and told him that he’s not required for the scene anymore!
