A DAILY wage employee of Government Press, Anil Goel, has alleged non-compliance of High Court order by the Government Press authorities. The authorities had been asked by the court to re-instate him in service. Though, he was re-instated, but later he was verbally asked to stop work. Anil, who was appointed as a daily wage employee, alleged that he filed a case before the Labour Court after his services were terminated by the authorities.

The Labour Court gave its award in his favour. However, the Government Press challenged this award before the High Court. But the HC ordered his re-instatement in service. Subsequently, he was given an appointment letter on December 16, 2005. But in October 2006, he was told verbally that due to non-availability of budget, his services were not required and that he would be called whenever the budget was available.

Goel alleged that he had not even been paid his arrears, which were long overdue.
